Terms of Service

Effective April 22, 2026. Last updated April 22, 2026.

1. Acceptance

By creating an account or using the service at insurancepdftoexcel.com, you agree to these terms. If you are agreeing on behalf of a company, you represent that you have authority to bind that company.

2. Service description

InsurancePDFtoExcel provides a software-as-a-service product that uses machine learning to extract structured data from insurance PDFs (ACORD forms, certificates of insurance, loss runs, policy declarations) into spreadsheets and JSON.

3. Acceptable use

  • You will not upload documents that contain protected health information (PHI) or other regulated data the service is not designed to handle.
  • You will not attempt to reverse-engineer the extraction models, scrape the API beyond rate limits, or resell raw access to the service without a written reseller agreement.
  • You will not upload documents you do not have the right to process.

4. Accuracy disclaimer

Extraction results are produced by machine learning models and are not guaranteed to be 100% accurate. You are responsible for reviewing extracted data before relying on it for compliance, financial, or legal purposes. We provide per-field confidence scores to help with review.

5. Plans and billing

  • Subscriptions renew monthly or annually as selected. Cancel anytime from the dashboard — access continues until the end of the paid period.
  • Overages are billed at the rate published on the Pricing page.
  • We may change pricing with 30 days' notice for existing subscribers.
  • Refunds are issued at our discretion for unused portions of a paid period.

6. Data ownership

You own your uploaded documents and the data we extract from them. We process them solely to deliver the service. We do not train our models on your documents.

7. Service availability

We target 99.5% uptime measured monthly. Planned maintenance is announced 24 hours in advance. We are not liable for downtime caused by upstream providers (Supabase, Vercel, Anthropic, Stripe).

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability for any claim arising out of or related to the service is limited to the fees you paid in the twelve months preceding the claim.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or that we reasonably believe pose a security or fraud risk. You may terminate your account at any time from the dashboard.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Delaware, USA. Disputes will be resolved in the state and federal courts located in Delaware.
